Microneedling Treatment
60 Minutes
Microneedling is a highly effective treatment designed to address fine lines, wrinkles, acne scarring, hyperpigmentation, and melasma. By stimulating collagen and elastin production, it helps to firm and rejuvenate the skin. For optimal results, a series of 3-6 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart is recommended, tailored to your specific skin goals and concerns.
Before starting the treatment, a thorough skin assessment or consultation with your esthetician is required to ensure your skin is ready and to identify any potential contraindications. The procedure begins with a double cleanse to prep your skin, followed by the application of a topical lidocaine to numb the area for at least 20 minutes. Once the numbing is complete, your esthetician will adjust the needle depths and treatment levels to suit your skin type and desired outcomes.
A pure hyaluronic acid serum is microneedled into the skin to boost collagen production and provide deep hydration. After the treatment, a Biocellulose Mask is applied to cool the skin and help with any redness and inflammation.
Expect some downtime of 3-5 days post-treatment, during which you'll need to avoid sun exposure for 2 weeks before and after the procedure.
PRP ADD ON:
An additional option is to add Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) to your microneedling treatment at an extra cost. PRP involves using your own blood, which is processed to concentrate platelets and growth factors. When applied during microneedling, PRP enhances the healing process and boosts collagen production, leading to even more significant improvements in skin texture, tone, and overall rejuvenation.
